THCVA (Tetrahydrocannabivarinic Acid) is the acidic precursor to THCV (Tetrahydrocannabivarin), found in raw, unheated cannabis. Like other cannabinoid acids, THCVA transforms into its active, psychoactive form — THCV — when exposed to heat (such as during decarboxylation).
