Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers and visitors who arrive on-premises as the first-point-of-contact
- Maintain a safe shopping environment for customers and employees
- Follow and enforce all applicable town, state laws, and CCC (Cannabis Control Commission) regulations
- Check that identification is valid, government-issued, and proof of age
- Monitor security cameras to observe activity on the interior and exterior of the store
- Work to prevent loitering, trespassing, and consumption on the premises
- Escalate security threats to appropriate authorities as necessary, and as appropriate
- Ensure that the reception area floors and surfaces are clean and sanitized regularly
- Stay informed of sales activities, events, and specials
- Display professional and courteous verbal and non-verbal communication with customers and visitors
- Maintain a calm and welcoming environment
After being selected you must pass all required background checks and obtain the necessary State
certification prior to commencing work.

As a Product Specialist, you will assist and guide customers through their retail experience, while accurately and efficiently processing transactions in accordance with
all rules and regulations put forth by Cape Cod Cannabis and the Cannabis Control Commission.

Qualifications to be an excellent Product Specialist:
- Minimum 2 years experience with customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to solve and resolve problems in a calm,
- Professional, and courteous manner
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Personal interest in the cannabis industry and enthusiasm for learning
- Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills
- A highly self-motivated and ethical individual
- Educate and assist customers in making product selections
- Maintain awareness of the current menu, programs, pricing, and deals
- Display outstanding customer service while accurately and efficiently processing transactions
- Exhibit patience and exceptional listening skills
- Complete sales and ensure the information on each transaction is accurately reflected in the POS software;
- Ensure compliance of operations with the State laws and Company’s policies and procedures
- Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism
- May be required to lift up to 40 pounds
