What is Live Rosin?
Live Rosin is a high-quality cannabis concentrate made through a solventless extraction process that relies solely on flower, water, ice, heat, and pressure.
Step 1: Flash Freezing
Once the plants are ready for harvest, the whole plants are carefully cut down, the buds are removed, and then are flash frozen. This quick freezing method helps preserve the plant’s terpenes and cannabinoids.
Step 2: Hash Washing
The frozen buds are then placed in a specialized hash washing machine, where trichomes—rich in terpenes and cannabinoids—are separated from the plant using only ice, water, and agitation. The resulting hash is filtered through various micron mesh screens.
Step 3: Collection
The product is selected from the 73-micron screen during the initial washes to produce the Live Rosin.
Step 4: Freeze Drying
After collection, the hash is freeze-dried to remove all moisture at sub-zero temperatures, ensuring that the terpenes and quality are well-preserved.
Step 5: Pressing
The dried hash is sifted and placed into 25-micron screen bags, then pressed between two temperature-controlled, heated plates. By using low heat and high pressure, the finest Live Rosin is created. At this point, the product can be cured and prepared for a variety of dabbing experiences.
